2. Our services
-
We offer online and/or in‑person tutoring sessions in computer science.
-
A standard lesson is usually 1 hour, but lesson length can vary if we agree this with you in advance.
-
Details such as lesson length, format, and price are agreed with you before lessons start.
3. Booking lessons
-
You can request lessons by contact form, email, or phone.
-
A booking is confirmed only when we have agreed a date, time, lesson length, and price with you.
-
For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make and approve bookings.
4. Payments
-
Lesson fees and payment methods are agreed with you in advance.
-
Payment is due by the time stated on your invoice or message (for example, before or on the day of the lesson).
-
If payment is late, we may pause future lessons until payment is received.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must let us know at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
-
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, we may charge the full fee for the lesson.
-
If we need to cancel a lesson, we will try to give you reasonable notice and offer a new time. If we cannot reschedule, any fees already paid for that lesson will be refunded or credited.
6. Student responsibilities
-
Students should arrive on time and be prepared (for example, with notes, past papers, or questions).
-
Students must behave respectfully and not use abusive or inappropriate language.
-
For online lessons, students are responsible for having a working internet connection and device.
7. Parents and guardians (under‑18s)
-
Parents or guardians remain responsible for the student’s welfare and online safety.
-
We do not accept responsibility for supervising students outside the lesson itself.
-
Parents or guardians should ensure that the student has a suitable, safe environment for lessons.
8. No guarantee of results
-
We will use reasonable skill and care to help the student improve.
-
However, we cannot guarantee specific grades, exam results, or outcomes.
9. Intellectual property
-
Any lesson materials we provide (for example, slides, worksheets, or notes) are for the student’s personal use only.
-
You must not copy, share, or sell our materials without our written permission.

By using our services, you agree that we may process your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of liability
-
We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms.
-
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
12. Changes to these Terms
-
We may update these Terms from time to time.
-
The latest version will always be shown on this page with the “Last updated” date.
